Heather Kirlin

Heather Kirlin is a partner at Greene Radovsky, where she specializes in business transactions for a diverse client base, including real estate companies, retail businesses, professional services providers and technology companies.  Heather has over 15 years of experience representing corporations, limited liability companies, partnership and individuals (in their capacities as equity owners, officers, directors and executives) in a broad range of business transactions, including business entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, redemptions and cross-purchases, joint ventures, incentive compensation plans, executive employment agreements and compliance with state and federal securities laws.

Heather specializes in in business acquisitions, having negotiated and closed numerous stock purchase, asset purchase and merger transactions for clients in a variety of industries throughout her career.  Heather also regularly advises both start-up and established companies on general business and contractual matters relating to business ownership, operation, management and disposition.

Heather has been with Greene Radovsky for over 10 years.  Prior to joining Greene Radovsky, Heather was an associate in the corporate department of an international law firm.  Heather received her law degree in 2001 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco, where she graduated magna cum laude, in the top 1% of her class, and with academic distinction (Thurston Society, Order of the Coif).  At Hastings, Heather was the recipient of Cali awards for academic excellence (highest grade) in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Wills & Trusts, and served as the Co-Editor-in Chief of the Hastings Women’s Law Journal.  Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she graduated magna cum laude.  Heather also spent a year of her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley.  Heather is a native of California, and was raised in Napa, where her family owned a winery when she was a child.  Heather serves as the firm’s Hiring Partner.
