Richard L. Greene

A founding partner of Greene Radovsky Maloney Share & Hennigh LLP, Dick specializes in taxation and business negotiation, as well as estate planning for high net worth individuals. He is an expert in all aspects of business and individual tax planning, including the income and estate tax effect of business ownership and the operation of closely-held and family businesses. He has advised corporations and individuals, both lenders and debtors, on the tax and economic consequences of both insolvency and work-outs to minimize tax consequences and maximize economic results. Additionally, Dick has structured inbound foreign investments and advised foreign corporation and pension funds, as well as non-U.S. individuals planning U.S. investments. He has also worked on tax and non-tax aspects of outbound investments.

Dick has handled tax controversies with the Internal Revenue Service, the California Franchise Tax Board, and the State Board of Equalization. He develops creative and practical solutions to clients’ business or tax issues to achieve optimal tax benefits and economic consequences. Dick has tried Tax Court cases, and has helped settle most tax controversies quickly and without the necessity of substantial litigation expense. He also serves as an expert witness on tax and business issues.
